Alexander & Doyle, P.A. named Triangle's Family Law Firm of the month by Attorney at Law MagazineAlexander & Doyle, P.A. Named “Family Law Firm of the Month” by Attorney at Law Magazine

Alexander & Doyle, P.A. was recently recognized by the North Carolina Triangle Edition of Attorney at Law Magazine as the Family Law Firm of the month. The magazine featured an article on child custody, where author Bob Friedman sat down with our two child custody and visitation lawyers.

In “The Kids Are Alright,” attorneys Ann-Margaret Alexander and Andrea Nyren Doyle discuss what’s most important for protecting your child from the negative effects that child custody issues can have on a child.

Featured Article: The Kids Are Alright

For any child whose family is going through the child custody process, it can be a tough time that can potentially leave a permanent scar on their mental and emotional well-being. The article addresses this by emphasizing the importance of maintaining a child’s schedule, structure, and consistency during child custody issues.

The piece also touches on the history of attorneys Alexander and Doyle. The two attorneys discuss the similar philosophy they share for their practice, the large variety of family court cases under their belts, and how being mothers themselves has served to help them in their area of practice. Having children has allowed both Alexander and Doyle to have a solid reference point for accommodating clients’ personal experiences throughout the family law legal process.

The ultimate reward is seeing that the
client is ‘happy and the kids are alright.’

Ann-Margaret Alexander attributes the firm’s success to the combination of being moms and the two decades of practicing in family law. She comments on the many different children and families – each with unique situations and stories – that Alexander & Doyle, P.A. have been able to assist.

Andrea Nyren Doyle added that sometimes clients will send them updated pictures of their children, who were once in the middle of a custody dispute, at prom or graduation. A rewarding aspect, Doyle explains, is being able to see the kids all grown up, doing well, and moving forward with their lives from the difficult custody and family legal issues. The ultimate reward is seeing that the client is “happy and the kids are alright.”
